Things in the news that annoy and irritate me
Well the government is now back open for
business. The troubling part is that it
never should have been shut down in the first place. A small group of Republicans (the Tea Party
faction) basically threw a temper tantrum that’s going to cost America $25
billion. I don’t know about you but when
my child behaves badly there is always some type of consequences. As a parent,
I don’t reward bad behavior. If they
want to behave like spoiled children I say we treat them as such. I have heard the word sedition (1) thrown around. At
the very least, these folks should be required to repay the money. These
idiotic, racist “tea baggers” hijacked the entire federal government and caused
needless human suffering and now have nothing to show for it. I think Ted Cruz’s name should be at the top
of the list.
In their efforts to make President Obama look bad,
they have made America the laughing stock of the entire world. Let’s be perfectly clear. The reason these idiots are so upset has very
little to do with the Affordable Care Act a.k.a Obamacare. It has everything to do with the fact that a
black man is the President of the United States and they cannot stand that
idea. Anybody who would rally around the
Confederate flag has some serious race relations issues going on… That flag that these folks seem to love so
much is a symbol of racism and a horrible history of division and suffering in
this country. Also of note is the “grassroots”
movement that is being called the Tea Party is being largely funded by those
criminals the Koch brothers. Their motivation is mostly monetary but I have
little doubt there are racist undertones as well.
I am so grateful and thankful that the women of the
U.S. Senate stepped in and came together to end this mess. With the men in their “pissing contest” there
is no telling how long it would have taken…
Gentlemen, do us all a favor. In
the future, you can save us all a lot of needless anguish if you just get the
ruler out and measure them. That way
once it’s settled, we can be about the business of running our great country
instead of acting like spoiled, arrogant teenagers.
Sedition:
the inciting of hostility towards the government.
