Was It An Accident, or Naw?

HOW IN THEE ENTIRE HELL DO YOU NOT KNOW THAT YOU’RE IN SOMEONE ELSE’S APARTMENT?!
Okay, full disclosure, I’ve come home from a night of partying and been pretty “messed up” but I knew where I lived. Officer Guyger told the authorities that she was exhausted. She said that she parked on the wrong floor. She said the door was unlocked and it was dark. She thought she had an intruder in her apartment so she fired a fatal shot and killed the man in the apartment that she had actually entered. This man was in his own home. He was not threatening her  in any way. But…the story keeps changing… The door was locked… the  door was unlocked… the door was ajar… really? I guess it took them three days to get their story straight. Hey folks, the story still doesn't make any sense. Now, it appears that they are engaging in some serious victim blaming. This is often the case when an innocent person of color is MURDERED by law enforcement. In this case however, they aren’t going to find anything in this young man’s past to make him “a worthy victim.“ Botham Jean was a fine, young man; an upstanding citizen who had never been in trouble with the law. So, we can add to list of how you can die in America while being black - minding your own business in your own damn apartment. Where does this end?

Let’s delve into this situation a little further, shall we? This officer, Amber Renee Guyger, shot a man in cold blood and she’s walking around free, again. Prior to be taken into custody, she stayed free for 3 days before she was even arrested only to be immediately released on $300,000 bond. Two words… WHITE PRIVILEGE!! Mix in a few white girl tears liberally with the blue wall and viola, no justice for Botham Shem Jean and his family.

This whole situation stinks to high heaven! Lies upon lies! She was so confused and exhausted yet she managed a kill shot? There are some eye-witness accounts that contradict Officer Guyer’s version of the story but yet she’s being treated like it was an accident, an unintentional act.  I wonder if the complete truth will ever be known.  I’m going to stay on top of this folks. Stay tuned.
